At MAGNOTE we strive to bring the Japanese culture, products, resources and ideas closer to the international community. The store name comes from the Japanese word of 'ma-go-no-te' which translates to back scratchers. Our goal is to fill in the gap and help Japanese ideas 'reach beyond' to the other side of the world.
As a starting point, in 2004 we introduced the i-Duck USB memory drive to the US market. In 2008, we started to bring PIPEROID, a paper craft robot with movable joints. Since then we have expanded our line-up to include other design intriguing goods from Japan.
In addition, we also offer consulting services for those interested in bringing products into Japanese market, including technical document translations from/to Japanese to/from English
